Travel Itinerary

Day One

10:00 a.m. Pink Jeep “Touch the Earth Vortex Tour”

Sedona is considered to be a sacred place by vacationers and spiritual seekers alike because of its spectacular beauty, unique geology and mystical atmosphere, all showcased in its vortexes—places of highly concentrated energy conducive to prayer, meditation and healing. Pink Jeep Tours’ insightful, two and-a-half-hour “Touch the Earth Vortex Tour” is a great way to explore these power spots, while learning about the history, culture and beliefs surrounding them.

1:00 p.m. Lunch at L’Auberge Restaurant on Oak Creek

Named “One of the Top 10 Restaurants in the Southwest” by Condé Nast Traveler, L’Auberge Restaurant on Oak Creek offers modern French cuisine amid the forested beauty of Sedona. It’s utterly romantic and thoroughly magical—a fitting lunch after your vortex tour.

3:00 p.m. Hike or Bike on Forest Trails or Stroll through Slide Rock State Park

It’s time to take a walk on the wild side. Especially since the majority of Sedona’s hiking trails are on the Coconino National Forest. {Click here} for a map of trails and urban pathways for hiking and biking. Or opt for both wet and wild, with a visit to Slide Rock State Park. This 43-acre historic apple farm located in Oak Creek Canyon features a stretch of creek bottom where visitors can slide down a slick natural water chute or wade and sun along the creek.

5:30 p.m. Dinner at Elote Café

Sample the cuisine of Mexico, culled from over 15 years of travels throughout that country by chef Jeff Smedstad. Start with some fresh Guacamole, then try the Carne Asada, Corn-Crusted Scallops or Smoked Chicken Enchiladas (to name just a few of the specialties) and your taste buds will be transported South of the Border for a culinary adventure.

7:30 p.m. Stay Overnight at Enchantment Resort

Set in secluded Boynton Canyon, Sedona’s Five Star Enchantment Resort combines the tranquility of a pristine environment with the luxury of a sophisticated vacation experience. Sip a Prickly Pear margarita on the patio overlooking breathtaking red-rock views. Experience the region’s distinctive American Indian culture. And be pampered with world-class luxury and service. Sweet dreams are practically guaranteed.

Day Two

8:00 a.m. Breakfast on the Patio at Mii amo Café

Wake up to a fresh and nutritious breakfast on the patio or at the communal table at Mii amo Café, with a menu reserved exclusively for resort guests. Try the housemade Cinnamon Roll. The Organic Egg Frittata. The Hopi Blue Corn Waffle. Or the Breakfast Panini. Whatever you choose, it’ll be an eye-opening experience.

10:00 a.m. Mii amo Spa Day

Treat yourself to a life-enhancing experience at the Mii Amo Spa, repeatedly ranked by Travel + Leisure readers as the world’s best destination spa. Inspired by the rich wisdom and traditions of the American Indian people, a variety of spa treatments indigenous to these cultures are available.

2:00 p.m. Wine and Tapas at View 180

Can you handle a bit more relaxation? Of course you can! Order some tasty tapas and wash it down with a mixologist-crafted cocktail or a vintage from the award-winning wine cellar at the resort’s View 180 lounge.
